I found two iron, sewing machine legs on Craig's list and got them with making a table in mind....and here it is! The top is made from 12" wide, 2" thick, and 4' long boards. The color of the boards, grayish, was made by spraying on a marinated mixture of White Vinegar and SOS pads, then "white washed" with Annie Sloan Old White paint. For durability it is finished with a Wipe on Polly. I can see this table in an entry, used for a TV, or as a desk. It is ready for a new home!
